MUST statement - LASK Away Match travel refund

Credit to Manchester United for the actions taken following the unprecedented but necessary late decision by the Austrian authorities to play tonight's match behind closed doors. Those actions include prompt communications enabling some supporters to cancel travel plans, securing a full refund of ticket costs from LASK, and in particular today's announcement of a generous £350 goodwill payment to those who had committed to attend. That gesture will benefit many of our most loyal European away supporters, including some who also paid to travel to Kazakhstan to support the team earlier in the season.

The Coronavirus pandemic puts football into perspective and we now have to await further decisions which will impact our supporters. We will continue to work with the club to assist fans with match going issues, including any further actions and issues arising from this particular crisis.
