United fan groups come together to back new FSA home ticket price freeze campaign

Manchester United’s leading fans groups have come together to support the new FSA campaign, “Protect the Fans, Protect the Game”.

The FSA campaign calls for Club’s to halt the huge ticket price rises in recent years and institute a freeze for next season, building on the success of the £30 fixed away ticket price already in place. After a transfer window in which the Clubs spent a net £1.2bn on players, and with £400m a year going out the door on agents fees alone, it is perfectly clear that Clubs could afford such a step which would do so much to recognise the value and importance match-going supporters bring to the Premier League.

MUST, The 1958, TRA* and MUYSC** amongst other United fan groups, have signed up to the FSA campaign will be lobbying for the ticket price freeze at United for next season, putting pressure on the Club via the Fans Advisory Board, Fans Forum, bilateral dialogue, and via more public campaigning activities.
